Our Mission: Education is Empowerment. At the Livingston Chapter, we aim to enable below poverty line girls to attend high school in Migori, Kenya. We support them via scholarships and workshops. These scholarships teach girls the value of education and the impact it brings. The STEM workshops help boost the confidence of the girls with difficult subjects, encouraging them to pursue STEM in the future.

What We Do

Our Approach

At our organization, we are dedicated to empowering underprivileged girls Kenya by providing them with essential STEM kits and educational resources. We aim to spark their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—fields are often overlooked due to limited access and knowledge. Through our comprehensive programs, we not only teach various subjects to inspire curiosity but also engage in fundraising efforts to support their educational journeys financially. Together, we are creating opportunities and fostering a brighter future for these young girls, encouraging them to pursue dreams.

Stem Workshops

Through Hitaji we help inspire interest in STEM through various workshops which target different topics like chemistry, physics and biology. We buy and prepare materials, construct lesson plans and steps, and demonstrate how to carry out the projects along with help from our team.

Scholarships

Through fundraising and donations, we help provide scholarships for students in Migori County which pays for their high school education and allows them to apply to local colleges. Through scholarships, we can alleviate financial limitations and allow them to pursue their interests through education.
